Add Alpaca Bot. Play the first track.

You need permission to add apps to a Discord server. Setup takes three steps.

Choose the server
Open the invite and pick a server where you can manage apps.

Review access
Confirm the bot and slash-command scopes, role, and channel access.

Play the first track
Join voice, type /play, and choose a track in Discord.

10 permissions. No Administrator.

The current invite does not request Administrator. Channel overrides can still block the bot.

Install scopes: bot and applications.commands.

Check the smallest thing first.

Slash commands do not appear

Confirm the app was installed with the application-command scope, then reopen Discord or wait for the command list to refresh.

The bot cannot join voice

Check that its role can view and connect to the channel and that no channel override denies access.

The bot joins but has no audio

Confirm it is not server-muted, can speak, and is in your voice channel.

A command looks different

Use Discord's command picker and /help; they reflect the version enabled for your server.

Choose a server, approve access, and type /play.
